Here's my roundup of news from around the blogosphere. Take note:

• Citi lets you redeem your ThankYou points for 0.75 cents each;
• Chase has announced their 2014 Freedom bonus categories (pretty much the same as last year, minus drug stores). My page has been updated with the new categories for your reference;
• Some American Express cards allow you to earn 5,000 bonus points for referring people (the signup bonuses seem the same as usual);
• If anyone you know doesn't have Hilton Gold status, you can gift it here for $49 (or buy it for yourself). I had to log in to Milepoint to see the gift page;
• TSA Precheck is now open to anyone willing to pay an $85 fee and visit Indianapolis for induction;
• Rent an Audi for $9 (plus taxes, I assume) using Silvercar;
• Earn EQM in Mileage Plan on all Alaska airline partners starting January 15.
